Taylor Swift- celebrating her brother, Austin Swift’s 33rd birthday with heartwarming wishes
His older sister is one of the biggest pop stars in the world.
And Austin Swift, 24, reveals Taylor, 26, is his role model as he launches his own entertainment career as an actor in Hollywood.
‘When we were kids, I saw Taylor write songs every day for years when there was no one to play them to,’ he told People. ‘Having seen that example, how much goes in, how long it took … That’s always going to be bedrock for who I am and who I want to be.’
Austin, who studied film at Notre Dame University, has a small role in the new Pierce Brosnan movie I.T., playing in select theatres in the U.S.
He also has a small part in the Ben Affleck-directed crime drama Live By Night that was shot earlier this year and is slated for a January 2017 release.
He was bitten with the acting bug, he says, while a student at Notre Dame studying mainly film theory.
‘A teaching assistant said they were having trouble casting this one role in the play they were putting up. I went and read for it and ended up getting the part, but I had no idea at the time that it was the lead,’ he told People.
