Julian Reese has helped the No. 4 seed Maryland Terrapins make the Sweet 16 for the first time since the 2015-16 season. But, they have a tough task ahead, facing No. 1 seed Florida Gators on Thursday night.
Ahead of the game at Chase Center in San Francisco, California, Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, Julian’s sister, made her way to the Bay Area following an Unrivaled championship to support her brother.
Maryland Men’s Basketball made a post on X that featured Angel Reese’s outfit for the Sweet 16 game.
The former LSU Tigers national champion notably donned a custom leather jacket that read “JUJU SISTER” in big lettering. She had requested a custom jacket on X after Maryland’s second-round win over No. 12 seed Colorado State. Angel Reese, who is from Baltimore, was also holding a black Under Armour shirt that read “I’M FROM BALTIMORE,” which is a quote from Derik Queen that went viral after his buzzer-beater a few days ago.
“Proud big sister! Proud to be from Baltimore!” Maryland wrote on X.
WNBA and college basketball fans alike were impressed with Angel Reese’s Sweet 16 outfit, taking to social media to leave their thoughts.
“Love the look!!” one fan said.
“1:1 Custom For @Reese10Angel 🐢🤞🏼,” added another.
“Yeah @Reese10Angel ! Represent!” wrote a third.
“I love this,” commented a fourth.
“Ngl this is so fire,” posted a fifth.

Before transferring to LSU, Angel Reese spent her first two seasons of college with Maryland. Now, the WNBA star is back, supporting her former team in its biggest game of the season.
The winner of Maryland and Florida will move on to the Elite Eight, where they will face the winner of No. 3 seed Texas Tech and No. 10 seed Arkansas.
